The concept of bridging Portuguese and Australian design is the vision of Marta Figueiredo — a designer with formal training in architecture in Portugal and the UK, and founder of Figgoscope Curates. Her work is informed by this architectural background, though she is not a registered architect in Victoria/Australia and does not provide architectural services here.

Marta’s practice focuses on integrating refined old techniques and materials into contemporary design, achieving the perfect balance of innovation, exceptional materials, and timeless craft.
